Game 2 of this series was an epic battle that went to the wire. The Dirt would score nine minutes into this contest but that would only last for five minutes as the Bastone would tie the game at 1-1. The Dirt would score two quick goals 20 seconds apart in the first minute of the second stanza. The second goal coming of the stick of Angelo Gatta. That would hold up as the winner. The Bastone would control most of the last ten minutes of the game but could only muster one goal.

The Dirt can now book their flights for the Eastern 'C' Regional Championship as Ontario's second of three entries. The Bastone have one last chance next weekend at the East 'C' Qualifying tournament being held May 28-30 in Oshawa.

Game 1 was played this past Friday, May 14 at Al Palladini CC. An evenly played game with the bounces going the way of the Dirt. After opening a 2-0 first period lead, Alex Palermo's second goal of the game on the powerplay would extend the lead to three. The Bastone would answer with a ppg of their own but that's all goaltender Enzo Chimenti would let in on this day.

The Bastone (Downsview Park BHL Spring Tier 3 Champions) are facing the Dirt (York Central BHL Spring Tier 3 Champions) for the second birth to the 2010 Eastern 'C' Regional Championships being held in St. John's, Newfoundland July 29- August 1.
